Art Night in Moscow, Russia (SecureDating.com)

Single Russian Ladies Art Night

The organizers of the Art Night in Moscow came up with exciting surprises for the event’s attendees. And what about you? Are you ready to swap good nights sleep for something much more interesting? Concerts and plays at train stations, clever performances, lectures about art and success, ball dancing in tsar’s residences, and much more await all art-hungry Russian ladies, men and visitors of Russia’s capital during the night between the 4th and the 5th of November. For the fifth time, Moscow hosts the Art Night. Over 350 events will take place at 170 different places during one night.

The Night has become a very special time when many cultural institutions keep their doors open for everyone interested. This year is not an exception – all events and favorite places are going to be open admission-free. And this attracts a lot of attention since the majority of the most popular cultural places, hosting all relevant forms of art, are going to participate in the event.

The payoff of the Art Night states “Art unites”. This, on the surface, simple phrase has much deeper meaning. Not only the artists and art admirers are going to be united during this Night, but also different art forms, spaces and methods of perception. For example, several Moscow train stations are going to be transformed into theatres and concert stages.

Everybody who is willing to study at night is welcome at lectures at Moscow Museum. Another project – Nocturnal Meetings – will offer a portion of inspiration with lectures by famous Moscow citizens about how to become successful in the Russian capital. It is worth mentioning that every lecturer has at some point moved to Moscow in pursuit of fame and success.

Summer. Dreams about Russia. Show in St Petersburg – (SecureDating.com)

Dating Russian Women from St Petersburg

It is summer soon… and we are dreaming of Russia and beautiful Russian women. An enchanted hip-hop balagan presented by “Leningrad Centre” in St Petersburg, Russia is a new experiment in mixing several different art genres. The foundation of this exclusive show was based on Russian folklore, circus elements and modern choreography.

The creators of the project’s musical part is an avant-garde team EtnoZapil. Sergey Mironov and Anton Ankushin are performing folk-sets using, among others, a number of ethnical instruments, including didgeridoo, jaw harp, saw, flute, ocarina, kalimba, and, of course, the vocals. And this explosive mix is accompanied by the human beat-box rhythms. The choreography is developed by the leading hip-hop performers, the champions of Russian, European and world’s cups – Vlad Rudenko, Marina Pekur and Dmitry Orlov.

The show “Summer. Dreams about Russia” is kind of a figurative type of performance, filled with quotes and allusions. It gives a new, modern and versatile sound to the folklore motives. For example, the fighting scene is performed as a hip-hop battle, the air tumblers are moving according to the laws of classical ballet, and the cinematographic insets include situations and characters from famous Russian movies: “The formula of love”,  “Journey beyond three seas” and “Battelship Potemkin”.

An excerpt from this show was already presented at the first BRICS Film Festival in India, where it was highly praised by the international experts.

Dating Beautiful Russian Women

During July this year beautiful Russian ladies, men and guests of the city would be able to see some very rare photos of world famous ballet dancer Mikhail Baryshnikov in the exhibition ”Baryshnikov by me. Robert Whitman” which will be held in KGallery in St Petersburg, Russia. Whitman shows the eccentric character of the artist from a totally new and unexpected angle through the photos that were taken during several photo sessions stretching over twenty years.

Robert Whitman is considered to be one of the best New York’s visual artists. He has worked for many magazines including Departures, New York, Cosmopolitan, Shape, Glamour, GQ, Men’s Health, Self and so on. During the past 20 – 30 years Whitman had an opportunity to photograph Baryshnikov for several american magazines, as well as in private photo sessions. The long years of communication and friendship turned into a collection of photos that would be interesting for any person who admires ballet, photography or both.

Baryshnikov at rehearsals and on vacation, very focused at work and having fun in the pool – the numerous photos reveal a complex personality of one of the most talented artists. The documentary photo series of the rehearsals of a short play Occasion Piece deserves a special attention. The fresh and expressive fashion story, which was made in 2015 for the American magazine AS IF Magazine in New York’s Baryshnikov Arts Center, we see the incredible energy demonstrated by the dancer who is no longer young. Each frame – an explosive personality, the power of movement, sensuality. He almost never poses, and even if he does, he does so with great self irony.

Russian girls partying

Girl in traditional Soviet school uniform

The Day of Knowledge is traditionally celebrated on the first of September in Russia, Ukraine and other former Soviet countries. This day was announced a holiday back in Soviet time, in 1984.

For Russian girls and boys that start in a first grade it is a holiday of the First Bell – the very first time that a school bell rings for them. For the rest – other pupils and teachers – it’s a celebration of the beginning of a new school year.

Even though it is a holiday, pupils have to attend school anyway. Traditionally the day starts with a ceremonial parade at school, where school’s director welcomes new and old pupils and congratulates everybody with the beginning of the school year.

After director’s speech, a boy in his final year carries a girl from the first grade on his shoulder around the schoolyard; the girl rings an old-fashioned bell, announcing the First Bell of this school year.

Most schools arrange special performances for this day: some pupils read poetry, dedicated to this day, from a stage; other pupils make dance performances; all accompanied by an orchestra to add solemnity to the event.

This day is always full of flowers: pupils and their parents present teachers with big bouquets of autumn flowers, cards and some also present gifts that were hand made.

After the parade everybody goes into the school, where the first lesson of the year is held. Normally this lesson is dedicated to social matters, knowledge and nature.

This day is most important for the pupils that attend school for the first time in their life; it is their first big step towards knowledge and independence. For a Russian woman, a mother, it is a very proud moment. Normally both parents and kids wait for this day with excitement, filled with hope and expectations.
