Summer. Dreams about Russia. Show in St Petersburg – (SecureDating.com)

Dating Russian Women from St Petersburg

It is summer soon… and we are dreaming of Russia and beautiful Russian women. An enchanted hip-hop balagan presented by “Leningrad Centre” in St Petersburg, Russia is a new experiment in mixing several different art genres. The foundation of this exclusive show was based on Russian folklore, circus elements and modern choreography.

The creators of the project’s musical part is an avant-garde team EtnoZapil. Sergey Mironov and Anton Ankushin are performing folk-sets using, among others, a number of ethnical instruments, including didgeridoo, jaw harp, saw, flute, ocarina, kalimba, and, of course, the vocals. And this explosive mix is accompanied by the human beat-box rhythms. The choreography is developed by the leading hip-hop performers, the champions of Russian, European and world’s cups – Vlad Rudenko, Marina Pekur and Dmitry Orlov.

The show “Summer. Dreams about Russia” is kind of a figurative type of performance, filled with quotes and allusions. It gives a new, modern and versatile sound to the folklore motives. For example, the fighting scene is performed as a hip-hop battle, the air tumblers are moving according to the laws of classical ballet, and the cinematographic insets include situations and characters from famous Russian movies: “The formula of love”,  “Journey beyond three seas” and “Battelship Potemkin”.

An excerpt from this show was already presented at the first BRICS Film Festival in India, where it was highly praised by the international experts.

COTTON PRINT REVOLUTION – (SECUREDATING.COM)

Russian Art

In Moscow, Russia, Winzavod opens a new art space – ∆ PROJECT SPACЕ and the first project presented there will be an exhibition of works by Russian artists Lyudmila Konstantinova and Georgiy Ostretzov ”Cotton Print Revolution”. The main theme of the exposition is built around the cotton print, which is both the medium for Konstantinova’s art and a metaphor, at the background of which the lives  of beautiful Russian women unfold.

The cotton print industry of the USSR became a part of the infrastructure, which together with kindergartens and day nurseries created work places for Russian women and wrapt all of them in robes made of unsightly textile, including the wife of the General Secretary, which turned the robe from an attribute of an intellectual every day life into a tool of self-inflicting pain. Cotton print was the matrix that united all classes of a classless society across all Soviet regions.

The cotton print politics had to turn into revolution: liberated from “housekeeping slavery” a working woman moves the focus of attention towards her own drama. And while Konstantinova shows it as a tragedy of domestic circumstances where a Russian woman is a victim, Ostretzov goes beyond the limits of domestic injustice, giving the inner conflict of a Soviet woman really grotesque forms, expressed through the language of comic books through the transformation of a woman into a superhero, fighting with the injustice.

WIM DELVOYE’S MIMICRY IN MOSCOW, RUSSIA – (SECUREDATING.COM)

Women from Russia, Ukraine and other former Soviet countries are known worldwide not only for their exceptional beauty but also for their great love for art in all its forms. The art of sculpture is one of them. Many Russian artists left their mark in the XX century and many still surprise the world with their creativity and unorthodox outlook on the world.

When dating a beautiful Russian girl, be prepared that she would expect you to be interested in culture and art as well, so frequent visits to art galleries, theatres and similar places will become your usual leisure activities. But don’t expect your Russian girlfriend always to lead the way to a new exhibition. Take the matter in your own hands and make sure to plan some cultural activities yourself.

For instance, make sure to take your sexy Russian girlfriend out to Pushkin Museum this weekend to attend the closing of the popular exhibition Mimicry. Over 20 different works of the famous Belgium artist, who has gained a worldwide recognition, will create a special space beyond the boundaries of time. You will see the classical past as an object of a contemporary irony, old forms created with high precision technology. The key of this exhibition is pseudo-gothic and neo-baroque sculpture made out of carved steel, marble and modern materials. Wim Delvoye’s art is highly provocative, ironic and modern; he puts different household items in a new artistic context that unites modern and classical plots with many historical and cultural reminiscences. The exposition is built specially to underline the connection between the past and the present – Delvoye’s art pieces are purposefully blended with sculptures from previous epochs to demonstrate the ironical paraphrase of historical styles.

Wim Delvoye was born in 1965 in Belgium and attended The Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Ghent. Since 1985 he creates works of art that reevaluate the traditions of European art in the context of the modern pop culture. His most famous works include Cloaca (2009 – 2010) – a machine that mimics the digestive process in a human body, and Art Farm near Beijing where Delvoye tattooed art pieces onto live pigs. However, the series of pseudo-gothic sculpture where he combines fine carving with modern objects.

Any educated Russian lady would appreciate a weekend date that includes a visit to such exhibition. So don’t hesitate and bring a bit more of culture into your Russian dating experience.

MAKS – INTERNATIONAL AVIATION AND SPACE SALON 2013 – (SECUREDATING.COM)

Russian Girl

Today one of the world’s fastest growing air shows is MAKS – an International Aviation and Space Salon in Russia. This year the expo is held from the 27th of August till the 1st of September. Thousands of Russian women and men, as well as guests from over than 40 other countries, are going to visit the expo this year.

One of the most important criteria for determining the status of such event is the number of companies and countries represented there.  This year MAKS represents over 100 different companies from over 40 different states. The static display of the expo will feature around one hundred aircrafts.

Traditionally MAKS invites representatives of foreign air forces. In 2011 the biggest exposition was presented by the US Air Force and counted 17 aircrafts of various types. However this year, due to the reduction of the military budget, the United States are not participating.

For the first time the visitors of MAKS will see a demonstration aircraft of the Swiss Air Force F/A-18 Hornet. The French Air Force, a traditional participator of a flying programme, will present their Dassault Rafale. Latvian team Baltic Bees will participate with training L-39. And of course there will be aerobatic teams of Russian Air Force, actually a record number this year: the Swifts, the Russian Nights, the Falcons of Russia and the Golden Eagles.

The premier of the expo will be the Air Force of China. Today China is the second country after Russia whose aerobatic teams are flying combat aircrafts instead of training or sports ones. Airbus and Boing, the world’s leading aircrafts manufacturers, will be demonstrating their innovations as well.

If you are travelling in Russia on business or to meet a single Russian girl – don’t miss such an opportunity and visit MAKS-2013, it can also be a stunning destination for your date with a beautiful Russian lady.

ICONS – SCANDALOUS ART EXEBITION IN ST PETERSBURG, RUSSIA – (SECUREDATING.COM)

the holy trinity

Don’t miss the last week of scandalous exhibition ICONS, held in the art centre Tkachi in St. Petersburg, Russia. Thousands of Russian women and men have already visited the exhibition.

The project ICONS, developed by the museum of contemporary art PERMM, is a compilation of art works and sculpture compositions of 25 famous Russian artists, and is perceived as a joint art project. The main idea of the exhibition is to rethink the traditions of Christian icons.

Last summer the exhibition was brought to Krasnodar, Russia, where it was met with aggression: skinheads and other activists blocked the opening of the exhibition and attempted to beat up the exhibition’s curator. The exhibition was seen as a social threat and nobody discussed its artistic content.

It wasn’t easy to exhibit the project in St. Petersburg either. The first art gallery, after first willing to host the ICONS, then suddenly refused to do so. However the art centre Tkachi was brave enough to show the exhibition and many Russian ladies and men are grateful for that.

“The Russian icon is a masterpiece of the world’s culture, same as the Greek sculpture or Chinese calligraphy. An icon belongs to the church and to art as well. Today, when an artist is recreating some religious plot, most often he or she is not in a dialog with religious texts or religious traditions, but in the dialog with the colleague, a fellow artist, his or hers predecessor” – says Marat Guelman, the curator of the ICONS.

The ICONS is a great way to learn more about Russian contemporary art and the history of a Russian woman.

INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY – (SECUREDATING.COM)

Dating Russian Woman

The 8th of March – International Women’s Day –  a global celebration of women’s achievements in political, economical and social life. It is celebrated by the UN, and in most post Soviet countries, like Russia and Ukraine, it is a national holiday.

In the beginning of the XXth century this holiday was created as a day of solidarity between female workers, joined together in a fight for equal rights and emancipation.

After a while in the USSR, this holiday  lost its political colour and was no longer associated with the movement against female discrimination.

Today the holiday is celebrated with family and friends, at home or at a restaurant. Traditionally Russian women receive flowers and gifts from their husbands, fathers, brothers and friends. Women are also giving presents to their mothers, daughters and friends. Most often they are also released from any household duties so they would be able to enjoy the holiday in full.

The 8th of March is a holiday of feminine beauty, the beginning of spring and a celebration of love and equality between men and women.
